| | So, right now I should be doing work but clearly I'm not. I've been good tonight though. Although I've decided to totally restart my music paper. I have a good feeling about this one this time, its only like the fourth or fifth paper topic I've started, but then switched. I think I'm going to go to bed early and get up around six to work on this some more. I always get stuff done when no one else is awake. I work better that way. Less distractions. I'm sleepy, even though I didn't pull myself out of bed today until 10:50. I got too much sleep. My body was used to like between 4-6 hours of sleep this past week and when I got more than that my body wigged, and now I'm tired. And its only 11:23. I wish Katie could have come this weekend. | | So, this weekend went by so fast. Christian came to visit and we went to Northampton Friday night and he surprised me by saying he had to go to the bathroom at dinner and running next door and buying me these really cool earrings that I said I had liked earlier that night :) And we got to spend time together which was so nice. I forgot how much fun it is to hang out with him, even though we can't make decisions for shit. But there is only 18 more days of school...weird. I'm going home the 11th! woot woot. only 7 more days of classes, which honestly will be like hell. I have my statistics presentation on Friday. Christ...thats going to be terrible. I'm sad that I don't get to go home on the 7th, but glad that I don't have to start a) my music paper till after my psych final and b) my statistics paper till after my psych final. It was raining all yesterday. But its nice out today. Anyways, I'm going to go to Kendade or the library and do some work. Maybe work on my lab and get all that out of the way then come back here and work on my projects....well this is all in theory. Depending on whether or not I'm motivated. Anyways, I should go. | | Howdy everyone...Not too much left of school. Excited to be going home, but sad to be leaving my friends here. Anyways, not too much has been happening lately. I went and saw Sin City with Whitney, Ginny, Lorin, Theresa, Shannon, and Gabby. It was very awesome, especially Clive Owen mmmmmm I mean....I am going again with Justine so we can gaze at Clive ::sigh:: This weekend is the jumper show and I get to ride my favorite pony Logan :) Hopefully he won't be as crazy. My parents are coming down to watch, the first show they have gone to see since my second to last year as a junior at the MHJ Finals...should be interesting. And hopefully more enjoyable. Then I get to get my prom dress:) Yay for going to prom again. I almost slept through class this morning, and practically fell out of bed when I looked at my clock and realized I had 10 minutes before class started. Needless to say, it was quite the battle to stay awake during class. | | Its the first day of Spring! yay! I'm just back at school for the last 7 weeks of my first year at college. In a way I can't wait for it to be over. But its not that long. Spring break was good. I didn't really do much, but I got to see Beauty and the Beast and everyone there. Maxie had my dress from Scrooge! At least it was someone cool who got to wear it after me. I got to spend some time with Chris too, even though I missed him play dodgeball, but lets not go into that. I saw Katie and we watched a BNL dvd which was excellent. I also got new earrings and met some woman that knew Katie. Weird. I got to go back to Plympton where I went to school from preschool to third grade and saw my really good friend from there, Jeff. I used to be taller than him! Go figure. Now he's 6ft tall. It was so great to see him, 10 years was way too long to go without seeing him. We used to be tight. | So yesterday it was close to 50 degrees in South Hadley. Today, we have a winter storm warning...Go figure. I guess my mom is in Chicago, or at least thats what my dad said. She has a conference for work that she still wasn't sure she was going to when she left for work. But when she didn't come home last night we assumed she had in fact gone to Chicago. The communication that goes on in my family is astounding.
But anyways, its still snowing. Walking back from my last class was a chore, trying to avoid the cars splashing slush all over me and my riding pants and trying to block the snow and wind from attacking me. It was pretty interesting. But enough of my complaining. I should probably take a shower, since I rode this morning and still haven't taken a shower. Pizza skins at dinner tonight..so excited. How sad is that, my friends and I are really excited about dinner? This is our excitement for the week? We really need to get lives or something. Anyways, 3 more days till my beloved Cape. And for all of you in Beauty and the Beast have fun with hell week. From what I've heard you've been doing well, the show better be kickass Friday night when I go to see it because I actually have to pay to see the shows now....what the f? So, it better be good. | | Its March!!! Yay, that means we are even closer to Spring. Which means no more random snow storms and warm weather. Winter has never felt this long before. NEVER. It needs to end like tomorrow. Anyways. There are only 9 more days till home and Spring Break! I can't wait to see everyone and visit my friends from Plympton...and see my most wonderfulest pony in the world :) I just need to get through these next two weeks or so and everything will be fine. | | Soooo I should be studying for my statistics test tomorrow...but you can't really study math can you? Anyways. Lets see. I went to my first college audition last weekend! And go figure, they do actual dances for these things! Although we did have to do the grapevine, the box step, and the charleston so I was all over that like white on rice. And then I sang The One Feather Tail of Miss Gertrude McFuzz and the Biggest Blame Fool and read one of the Cat in the Hat's monolouges. Oh this was for Seussical by the way. So I got a call back, but I decided I don't want a repeat of senior year with getting like 4 hours of sleep a night and having to take the PVTA everyday. It would not be fun..although I would have gotten a singing part :( Oh well. I might try out for the Vagina Monolouges next year and fake orgasms on the stage. haha But other than that not much else is going on around here. Chris is going to come up this weekend!!! And we are going to go out to dinner with my friend from Springfield College who I miss very much! And hopefully me and Chris will celebrate Valentines Day and our anniversary a little belatedly. Sigh...Gilmore Girls is definitly on in a half hour and I haven't really started studying for stats. Hmmm interesting. | | So...it's been a while since I've updated (thank you Ann, I'm officially stoopid) purely and solely out of laziness. Classes have started and the days are sooooooooooooooooooo freking long. They never end!! The madness. So, last night was an adventure. After riding team tryouts a bunch of the girls on the Eq team went to a club in Springfield called Rain. Just getting there was an adventure. First we tried to jump start Lucy's car. Lets just say about 10 girls here at MHC and none of us knew how to jumpstart a car. Then I let the two things get too close together and sparks started flying everywhere and people thought I was going to get electrocuted (sp?) but the ordeal was quite humorous. Then upon getting lost in Springfield Lorin and I go to ask the guy at the Dunkin Donuts how to get there..but apparently he couldn't understand us as he spoke very minimal english and this other very sketchy guy kept staring at us. Maybe it was the cowboy hat I was wearing. But thats not the point. Once we got inside we had a wicked good time. There was this contest thing which basically had girls and guys dancing on the upper level and stripping. I don't want to go into detail but I saw waaaaaay too much flabby girl ass, poor Lorin is corrupted now! Anyways we're having a heat spell tomorrow..its going to be in the 30's!!! sweet.
